This auction is for a little tea cup and saucer, both are in excellent condition, it does have a sticker on the bottom of the plate and cup, both are alike and say '' METASCO JAPAN'', the winner will also be getting the Josef originals ceramic doll, she is vintage and from the December birthstone collection, she is in excellent condition, both are a little dusty but I will wipe down before I send, PLEASE SEE ALL PICS FOR DETAILS! tysm (*v*) I SHIP FAST AND SAFE

I made these rules because I mainly auction donated items that are pre owned from my store, I wash/clean everything before I ship unless it is new with tags, and I ship for free so you will have to bare with me on the days of my auctions, I have to ship when I can, but I have met a few stuck up listians that think this is a mall and everything should look like it came out of a mall and those are the listians I made my rules for because they can be some very mean and nasty people and I don't want any part of that, so if you are one of those listians, PLEASE don't bid on my items.. for the rest of you... Josef Dolls History:

Josef Originals Birthday Dolls first originated in the mid to late-1940's as Muriel Joseph George designed these creative dolls during the end of World War II. Muriel began designing these dolls to express her love for children, families, animals, and more. Her first designs were produced between 1945 and 1962 in California before moving the manufacture of the dolls to Japan for economic reasons.

In 1982, Muriel entered retirement and sold the company to then partner, George Good. Production of Joseph Dolls continued between 1982 and 1985 before the sale of the company to Southland Corporation (more recently known as Applause). In 2004, the company again changed ownership from Applause to Dakin who began to manufacture the dolls in Hong Kong. Today, these dolls continue to be produced out of this same overseas facility.

Although the original Josef line was hundreds of items, most recent production has centered on birthday dolls, birthstone dolls and some special occasion dolls such as first communion, confirmation, sweet 16, bride and groom, and a few musical pieces. Current production plans are even more limited; the birthday dolls between newborn and twenty one, and most recently, the bride/groom, ring bearer, and flower girl are the only Josef Dolls being manufactured at this time. Fanned, on the back of the dolls dress on bottom is that a chip or paint wear?

its just looks like that, the flash made it look like its chipped but its the way she was painted, theres nothing wrong with here and theres no paint wear, its hard to expain but around the bottom of her dress she is white and it blends in whith the color on her dress.... if that makes any scense, lol, but all item are in excellent condition, hope that helps hun, tysm ;-p
