Description

The listing, All the Components (- HD & PS) of an HP Desktop A6323W has ended.

>>>>> Please read ALL notes before bidding <<<<<<

These are all of the components of a HP Desktop A6323W, minus the Hardrive and Power Supply. You will get everything in the pictures/listed below:

Motherboard w/ AMD Dual 64x2 / 5200+ and Heatsink
2 Sticks of 1GB Memory
1 Stick of 512 Memory
DVD Writer / CDRW
Pocket Media Drive Bay
Smart Media Bay (xD, Compact Flash I/II/MD, SD mini MMC/RS/Plus/Mobile, MS/PRO/Duo/PRO Duo)
Konexant Modem
Audio/Video/USB 2.0 Hook-ups
Case Fan
Case Power Button

This computer was bought new by me and worked perfectly until it started getting blue screens randomly for no apparent reasons. We tried several different things to fix the issue, but never could get it to straighten out, so I ended up buying a new one. Sometimes there were errors for audio, sometimes video, others memory, but never Hardrive. Sometimes it would start up and immediately boot to desktop, other times it would blue screen right away and then go to desktop after a few restarts. The HD was wiped and OS reinstalled twice, then a new HD put in to no avail. We thought maybe it was the PS and bought a new one, but again it did not fix it. We ran diagnostics with special HW & SW, but it could not find anything either. Ran diagnostics with the HP and again nothing.

I hope someone can do something with these parts and maybe figure out what the issue is. So please bid accordingly, as I am not guaranteeing anything.

Even when off it could be subject to an electrostatic discharge. The carpeting isn't necessarily the culprit just a possible means of creation of said charge. But for the purposes of your picture, it should have been ok.

That's all I was saying :) Me putting the MB on the carpet to take the picture is not going to fry it in any way, shape or form.

The computer itself was never on carpet, always on a desk hooked up to a computer certified surge-protector.

Do you have the backplate for the motherboard?
Oct 20th, 2013 at 6:12:29 AM PDT by

No, there is no backplate that can be taken out of the case.

There probably is a backplane, it just seems integrated into the case, but if you apply some pressure to that point from the outside it should pop off from the case housing.

Nope, not that we could tell, if it was anything like that, it would have been an easy diagnosis :)

would have been a easy fix all you have to do is reset the bios by removing the battery on the motherboard for a minute or two
Oct 26th, 2013 at 10:53:20 PM PDT by
Original
Lol, nope, tried that too, even put a brand new battery in it to make sure
