no. the only metro pcs phone that uses a sim card is an LG. this phone only needs to be activated and your ready to go.

you can either buy a metro pcs prepaid card at walmart or take it to a metro pcs store and activate it. it's a monthly service with no contracts.

the carrier is metro pcs. you can either get a prepaid card for metro pcs from walmart or take it to a metro pcs store for monthly no-contract service. i know there is metro service in New York, but i don't know if they have service farther north.

scroll down on your "my listia" home page and in the bottom left hand corner, there should be links for getting more credits such as watching ads or filling out surveys or even buying credits. and of course, the easiest way is to list an auction of your own. good luck.
