This is a charming doll with a sweet face, dressed in highly detailed clothing (possibly Quaker) from an earlier time, holding a book.6 inches tall with a painted composition face and cloth arms and hands.
Her grey cotton floor length dress with long sleeves is covered by a black apron that crisscrosses over her shoulders and ties in a bow at the back. Her neat gray yarn hair is covered by a black bonnet with a black ribbon bow at the back.
She has a cloth pyramid base instead of feet that is signed M. Nicholas.
This doll is pre-owned and is in good vintage condition. She has some wear on her nose and hands.
