great pic!! the blue heron is not easy to capture. We have them here in wisconsin also & I have never been able to get a good pic unless I sit still in my kayak all day which i did once but my pic was not as nice as this. fanned & bidding on this also

There's a park that's only a few minutes from my house and I saw this one several times over the summer but it wasn't easy to capture a photo of him. If he saw anyone he would up and fly across the pond. He did fly over our house several times and sit in a tree behind it by the river.
