does this have any markings on it? Like 925 or Sterling or Alpaca? Maybe the word Mexico? Could you take a picture of the back of the necklace and earrings please?

I added a photo of the back. As you can see, it doesn't appear to have any markings. I didn't do the best job cleaning it so it is still a little tarnished. There had been a small heart attached on the chain with something on it but it is missing.

How would you know it is sterling unless you have it checked by a jeweler or it is marked? The title says sterling but....????

I know it's sterling from when I bought it. Maybe I will take it to a jewelers and have them authenticate it. Would be a couple of days though. I'm 30 miles from town.

I will not be able to get to town and have a jeweler look at it. I did polish it and my cloth turned black. There was a tiny heart charm hanging by the O ring you put the clasp into that probably had the markings on it. I'm afraid I lost it when I went into congestive heart failure and tore the necklace off. Don't know if any of this helps.
