The listing, NAZI - 1933-34 5pf President Hindenburg "Medallion" has ended.

The Third Reich continued the use of the President Paul von Hindenburg Medallion definitive stamps, first issued in 1932 under the Weimar Republic. Beginning in 1934 though, the Reich started printing the stamps on swastika watermarked paper. All the denominations were printed in this manner during 1934, except for the 1 Pf. (Dec. 1933) and the 80 Pf. (Feb. 1936). Here is the 5Pf.


While I absolutely do not condone the actions of the Nazis, this era in human history stands out as one of the greatest human struggles ever.

Nazi items hold an intrigue as they serve as a reminder of just what humans left unchecked are capable of both doing to others, as well as what humans are capable of enduring, and ultimately the victory of good over evil.
