ya, its pretty cool. Especially for those that decorate outdoors for the holidays. But I have another one that I have plugged in to my lamps in the living room. When I have my hands full walking in the door and its dark, its nice to just use the remote to turn on the lights. It beats stumbling in the door! I just put it on my key chain.
