This is such a beautiful towel with its bright red, blue, and golden trim. It is printed in black on top the red, starting with Alfred the Great of 871 AD through Queen Elizabeth, crowned in 1953, along with her children and grandchildren (William and Harry, Beatrice & Eugenie, Peter & Zara).

The tag reads:
Side 1: Designed exclusively for historic royal palaces.
Side 2: 50% linen 50% cotton
Wash in cold water (hang to dry)
Iron while damp (on back side)
Do not bleach
Do not dry clean
Also, printed in black ink along the bottom front panel, it reads:
Linen Union - Royal Lineage by ULSTER Reg No 7868 - Made in Ireland
