They are VERY Old, VERY Beautiful & VERY Rare~~ & a real JOY to Behold. The amazing colors that are emitted from the shell are so sweet & pure as Mother Nature herself.
Pale, shimmering, iridescent hues of pink & green & silver~~depending on how the light plays with them. Wow!
Almost like the Aurora Borealis but softer & more delicate. Just amazing!
They would make a stunning addition to your Antique/Vintage jewelry collection or as a Gift to that Special someone that admires & Loves old jewelry.
The pendant portion measures 1" x .75" & the circular stone "button" cap on the Silver tone, screw back portion is about .25"

I have seen many pairs of Vintage & Antique earrings that are marked Japan. Not knowing what the character on these actually says or means, I cannot be totally sure. Perhaps they are Chinese. They too, are known for quality craftsmanship of all sorts.

Beautiful! This is the symbol for long life, which is one of 3 blessings (the others are happiness & success). This could be either Japanese or Chinese since both use the same characters. Hope this helps! Good luck with this!
