Description

The listing, Purple Hyacinth Bean Vine - 15 seeds has ended.

15 seeds for the Purple Hyacinth Bean Vine.

I had one plant this year with three vines over 20feet long – most of the others were about 10 to 15feet long!! They grow fairly easily, need proper care until they are established, and do not require a lot of watering. Full sun, good rich well-drained soil is needed to help these rapid growers! Birds, hummingbirds, and hummingbird MOTHS - had three of the moths hovering almost daily while in bloom! - love these!! I know they can grow well in zones 5-8, I don't know about other zones but you can check online to make sure.

All Listia rules apply. Winner MUST provide a verified address within 7days or I keep the item and your credits. If you fail or refuse to respond to my emails, assume that I will be keeping your credits at the end of the 7days. I do not accept addresses sent via email. All shipping addresses must be sent from your Listia account.

Timely positive feedback is appreciated and reciprocated.

I see these lista rules warnings on some listings, and about the verified address...should I be adding this? Why ?

Hi Dawn! It's a safeguard for both the seller and buyer.

This is what the Policy states:
"Shipping Addresses
All users must store address(es) in their Shipping Address section, located here. A saved shipping address field is the only means through which a buyer should share his or her personal information with the seller. As a buyer, you can store one or more addresses and reuse them to tell sellers where you'd like your items shipped. So instead of pasting (or re-typing) your address in a message every time you win an item, you'll simply choose one of your pre-entered addresses, eliminating typos and saving time! An additional benefit is that we standardize abbreviations, correct misspellings, and add in zip codes, to minimize shipping errors. cont'd

While messages can still be used for general communication between buyer and seller, they should not be used for sharing shipping information. In the event of a dispute, if we discover that a buyer or seller has not used the proper method for sharing shipping information, it is unlikely that the dispute will be resolved in their favor."

Like this last sentence: if a dispute came up, and say you sent me a shipping address via message that was NOT yours, I mailed the item to that address, you DID NOT receive it, since that address is not your stored address the dispute would likely be found in my favor. cont'd

If, say you clicked the "Have it shipped to me" button in the listing after you won the auction and the system sent me whatever address you had stored for YOUR shipping address, and I somehow transposed street numbers or wrote a completely different address, in a dispute, you would likely get all your credits back and you could leave negative feedback because I screwed up by sending to the wrong address even though you sent me the correct address. Most sellers will want the verified address. I do because of previous issues with buyers not sending a complete or accurate address. Hope this helps. There are links at the bottom of every page where you can look up policies and such. Thanks for asking :)

if you are wanting to know if you should add the same or like warnings to your own listings, it may prove beneficial to you as a seller, but only you can make that call. There are rules that everyone has to go by and it's always best to make sure you are covered in case of errors. The policies are pretty clear and they tell you what you can and cannot list. Hope this helps. Thanks for asking :)
