Um, you sure about that "Gold plated" stuff? If this is just the standard "golden dollar" there is zero gold in it.

my wife put this on for me, she meant to say the coin looks like gold but is not real gold its just the standard golden dollar i've seen other auction on the same kind of coin they all say $ gold coin on them sorry about this.thanks

No biggie for me. But some here will believe it really is gold. Gold's about $1000 per ounce, so your coin would be worth about $500 or so..... As a "golden" coin, it's worth a buck.
