Any software it needs is included with it. I have never opened the package, so it is either loaded on the device, has a disc, or it doesn't require anything additional.

Usually these type of devices are plug and play. Once plugged in it will show as a storage drive and you can just drag and drop or copy and paste. Pretty cool item.
