They are #3 coil zippers with plastic teeth. These zippers have a smoother opening, are more flexible, and easy to work with. They are sturdy and last a long time. I have used many, many of these zippers in my sewing and I make pouches to go in my Etsy shop, so I am fully confident that they are durable.
