Description

The listing, Lord of the Rings trading card game has ended.

This is for a bunch of LotR cards that I got a while back. I never played the game, so I don't really know how it works, but the cards are pretty cool. I'd guesstimate that there's around 100 cards there, but there may be more or less. There are duplicates, as well.

The pictures above were found online, but those are the kinds of card these are. I included them so that you'd be able to tell which set these come from (apparently there are a couple of different card games out there).

The numbers on the bottom right corner are the collector's information numbers. For example, the card "Beren and Luthien" is "3U9" - To collector's that means 3 - set name, U - uncommon card, and 9 - card number in the set. R = Rare, U= Uncommon, C = Common, and P = Premium card.

Okay, but that doesn't really answer my question. Do you want all of the numbers?

I'm looking for the card "Beren and Luthien" #3U9. I have one that I can't use, because it's signed by Liv Tyler and Viggo Mortensen.

Sorry; it doesn't look like I have that one. Are there any others you need?

Hey, I have a question for you (since you seem to know something about these cards). Do you know why some cards are foils, and others with the same number are not?

Foils in this series were used as replacements for certian cards in different booster sets, after the original card had been released to the market. It is the same card in every other sense, exept that they are rare. In "LORD OF THE RINGS: Siege of Gondor" a singe foil from the 18-card foil subset replaces a rare card in approximately one in seven booster packs.

Interesting. Thanks, there are a few foils, and I was wondering what was going on with them. :)

You want the numbers of ALL the cards, or just some of them, because that may take a while...

Are there specific cards that you're looking for? If you need me to list them all, I can try, but I just took a look at the set. It looks like there's more than I thought there were.
