Some people ask you to lower the days because they want the chance to outbid everyone else who hasn't had the chance to build up their credits and the rest of them ask because they don't want their credits "tied up" for a long time waiting for the auction to end. I say if they want something bad enough they'll budget their credits accordingly to get what they want and stop trying to muscle everyone else out of the auctions. My answer to those people is to ignore their comments and block them.
