Description

The listing, PC Analyzer New Never Used!! has ended.

You are bidding on one brand new PC Analyzer complete with instruction guide and codes lists and also one USB to USB wire.

This item is used to tell you what your problem is with a computer, everything from the RAM gone bad, to circuits on the motherboard. You just hook this up to your computer and follow instructions in the guide. The analyzer will give you number codes and others and you look them up in the instructions code list to find what your problem is so you can then try to fix it.

I bought this a while back when I was actually doing a lot of working on computers. Then I just never got around to using it and I don't do very much on them now so maybe this will be of help to someone else.
Even if you don't do work for anyone else it might be handy to have for your own use in your toolkit.

"Designed to work on desktop as well as notebook computers through the USB port (for power) and the 25 pin parallel printer port (LPT)
Must use the parallel port and the USB port at the same time to operate this analyzer"
So, the advice I posted to Milera, still stands.

No it will not work on a laptop, unless you have a printer port hook up.

Thanks for your info but I think it will work if you hook it up USB.

Milera, if you don't have a port, like the picture on the right at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parallel_port darelhiggs is 100% correct :-) Depending if you have a laptop with issues and no LPT port, you would have to buy an adapter that goes into the PCMCIA port That should allow you to use the device up for auction. http://www.amazon.com/Pcmcia-parallel-adapter-laptop-Notebook/dp/B009LAHGSY << is the said adapter.required. Good luck and I'll accept one third of all the credits katdragon gets for this auction. LOL

Wow.. Yes this will work on a laptop using one of the USB ports as this as both USB and parallel interface. People should get their facts if they are going to try to answer someone's question...

Umm, I'll think you'll find that the USB port on this card, is to provide power to it, as the "Product info" clearly states. I quote " and USB port (for power) "
