Description

The listing, Rapini Seeds has ended.

Heirloom rapini seeds. Taste is between wild broccoli and mustard (but not as bitter).

They prefer cooler climates like zone 5-6, but can be grown elsewhere. Typically just broadcast spread them in the fall (about 6-8 weeks before first frost) or you can plant first thing in the spring - they will start to grow when conditions are favorable.

My favorite way to eat them is to boil for 3 minutes and then saute in olive oil and garlic. You can then chop them up and toss them with pasta as well.

Umm, haven't tried that, I don't see why not, but I would plant them in the spring rather than the fall. They are not too picky in terms of soil and they like moist soil when developing the heads. I plant them in full sun, but atleast 5-6 hours should be ok.
