I am also new at this but really enjoying this site! It's a lot of fun and a great idea. I don't know how long this has been up and running but I only just heard about it a week ago. I'm always confused about shipping tho. I've noticed sometimes an item will say free shipping but then I am charged shipping. This one says flat rate but now I see the person above me says it is free shipping..?

Hey Girls, have been on Lista for a couple of years now. It is a great site and I have won many very nice items. As far as not receiving your item, it does happen. Check out the sellers rating it will be in ( ) right beside thier name. You will see that you have 0. That's because your new and have not completed an auction with feedback yet, once you do, you will have a rating. Now, if the seller charges shipping, pay through pay-pal, that way if they do not send the item, Lista will refund your credits and pay-pal will refund what you paid for shipping. So you don't lose anything expect a little time. Most people do complete thier auctions, just check their rating and that will let you know if they have done so in the past. Have been burned a couple of times by seller requiring cash payment sent for shipping, so I learned my lesson on that and only work with sellers accepting pay-pal for shipping. All in all it is a great site and you will be able to get some nice things. Hope you move forward and enjoy.

true I got ripped off sending cash for shipping and not getting the item seller said never got it ,will never do that again
