This is a set of 6 plastic miniature snow globes ready to finish into lovely gifts. It is a really great little project for children (with adult supervision).

They are 2" diameter and 2.5" height to top of the dome.

The globe must be filled with a water/glycerin mix. The glycerin will give the liquid some body so the glitter will 'float'. Plain water will work but the glitter will fall quickly instead of gently floating. FYI: Clear, no-color cooking oil can also be used since it is thicker than water..

Then a paper is decorated by the child (or a photograph) and then cut to fit (template included) into the slot at the bottom. The 3rd photo (DAD) shows a sample.

The glitter/snow is already inside. Three of the items are completely empty and ready to fill. The other 3 are filled with plain water, so you may want to replace them. They have been filled with water for 3 years and have not leaked so the plug must be secure.

These are a cute project for children, maybe a Sunday School activity or small daycare project. Or even an individual for making little gifts for grandparents and other beloved friends and relatives! Keep in mind that small children will need adult help with it, especially opening the plug and pouring the liquid inside, and then closing the plug so it is secure.
