Hi Michael....Great auction....I'll be watching to the end! It would be great to provide members with the NGC link where they can verify information about any NGC graded coin. That link is:

http://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/

Interested persons can just copy and paste the link in to their address bar. They will instantly be taken to the NGC link where all they have to do is enter the certification number for this coin, 2518243-018 (or any NGC certification number) and view all the information about the specific coin, including what NGC considers to be the fair market value of the coin.

You should be able to easily garner 50,000+ credits or more for this coin, since NGC states the current fair market value of this specific coin is $52.50 and that NGC has only graded 9,010 2007 S Ultra Cameo John Adams $1 coins at the this top PF70 grade. And this coin will certainly increase in value so members should consider this coin a nice investment.

As NGC does not sell coins directly they actually have no bearing on selling value. A coin is only worth what someone will pay for it. I would like to dispel misinformation. I reccomend that bidders check other online sources for actual selling value before bidding on ANY coin. By no means is NGC an authority on coin value. Bidders should check MULTIPLE sources so they can make an informed decision. I paid over $110 for this in 2007 and now its FREE on LISTIA! :)

BTW this coin hit $335 in 2010. Right now we are facing a short recession. Speculatively of course....

Nice coin. As you said, I checked the current value of this PF70 Adams Presidential Dollar on several sites, including NGC Explorer. Not going to quote prices here, but if you paid $110 for this in 2007 why does it have a sticker price of $335 on it? If you put that price sticker on the case I think you should say so. I can not say what it was in 2010 because I have never had any interest in these coins. I do have a problem believing they bounce all over the place in value like this. And BTW I do not know where you get your info about our economy in a "short recession". One does not need to speculate. The current administration has this economy in the worst downward spiraling recession this country has known since 1929. And lastly,,,Nothing is free anywhere in this world.....

Nice coins always seem to draw out the negative despot. As for the sticker it went on in 2010 as I was selling on ebay. If anyone is interested the only problem with the economy is lack of buyer confidence which is magnified by those who are not willing to work harder for what they want. Thid is not the place fir such discussion but if you are trying to dissuade my you ate doing a goid job. Please take your negativity elsewhere.

I end up missing typos on my smartphone and swype is usually creative with words so one must be careful. Its also not that easy to correct sometimes.
