This is a toy that began its life as "Wild Planet's Hip Hop Beat Blender". It has since expanded to many music genres other than just Hip Hop. It's a weird music making toy that is way cool. It's too complex for most adults, but a kid will figure it out in about 30 seconds. Most adults need a manual, which it does not have...So here's how it works: You slide the orange slider to select one of 4 banks that you can sequence by pushing the buttons on the left side: select drums, rhythm, and lead, each with 4 different loops you can layer onto each other. It also has volume and tempo controls, and a very useful auto-fill feature that fills the banks with random loops. It has it's own speaker for playback. This allows you to mix and playback your own unique music. It requires 3-AAA batteries (not included), and can be attched via the pigtail cable to other Beat Blender toys. Two or more Beat Blends will then share their sound libraries for a vaster music mixing experience. This one is titled "Hot Hits" and does have Hip Hop/Pop sounds. This is in almost new condition.
