I work at walmart and when we scanned these it said item not for sale in our system. Was it this exact one you saw, because there is more than one type of Hex.

Yah, you can buy these in stores. Wal-Mart did have a promotion where you got one free when you bought the new Skylanders game though. That's why they are marked not-for-sale at Wal-Mart.
