Description

The listing, Gevalia Coffee Maker has ended.

This auction is for a never before been opened Gevalia Coffee Maker. As far as I know the box is still sealed. Someone signed up for a bunch of stuff in my husband's name after getting ahold of his card number and we wound up with a bunch of stuff we will never use and a lot of debt that we had to dispute. Our trouble is your gain. Gevalia told us to keep this coffee maker and we have no use for it.
I looked it up on ebay and see that it averages a sale of 21.00. So I am saying this is worth at least that, and if listen to the folks at Gevalia it's worth way more.
Please note that the picture is a stock photo and this coffee maker may be a different model and/or color. I do not know. As I mentioned before the box is still sealed. If this information is wanted let me know and I will open the box to find out.
If bids get high enough..let's say 5501 I will ship this beauty for free. Happy Bidding everyone!

I am new so what does "reserved" mean?

It just means that I reserved some space in case I need to add comments on the auction. They will be at the top so you don't have to sift through the comments.

Please bear with me as it's my first day at this auction. 2 ?'s.
1. "If bids get high enough..let's say 5501 I will ship this beauty for free"
I thought a bid had a value of about a nickel. 5501 would be $275.05! If it's a typo and should be 550 that's still $27.50 which is higher than $21+$5 on shipping.
What haven't I learned yet about this site and auction?
2. It would be nice if you would take a moment and look at the box. It will tell us the color, model # and if it's a 8-10 or 12 cup model. You know, just some trivial info.
My wife only wants black and I'd hate to get a white one!
Cheers,
Desert Dave

P.S. Why would anyone lift a credit card, risk getting caught and then send the goods back to you? Makes no sense to me.

Our name and card number was stolen when we went to an event in a park and everyone only accepted cash. We were lazy and instead of walking two blocks to our bank's ATM we used an off brand ATM that was set up in the park. A week later we had over 800 dollars missing from our account and most of it was internet charges but then there were a few like Gevalia, Disney Movie Club, and AARP (we are in our 30's). We don't understand either. Second, most people don't buy credits on the site and some products go for a lot of credits. If you look at some of the auctions for gift cards, you will see that a 50 dollar gift card goes for well over 20,000 credits. So, no typo on the credits. I will look at the box and let you know the information. The reason I didn't and said I would if requested is because it is not in a very easy to reach spot at the moment. I will post the information in a few minutes.

Summary:
* 12 cup coffee maker
* Cm2205 Series
* Uses No. 4 filters
* Comes with 10 filters
* Comes with booklet
* Color is black
* Includes the glass carafe that is included with most coffee makers.

As a thank you gift for bidding and winning the winner of the auction will receive two free gifts with the coffee maker.

There are no mistakes as to the credit information above, nor with the shipping. All items I sell and ship have a confirmation/tracking number. This item ships for well over 5.00 so even if bids don't get over 5,501 credits you are getting a good deal on shipping. I will only ship for free IF credits get to the above mentioned credit count. Thank you for stopping to look and good luck.

Do you know if this is "programmable"- that you can set it to start at a certain time; like before you get up in the morning.....? Thanks!

I have seen you harass other sellers on this site a well. I will not tolerate this and will report you. There is nothing wrong with this listing oir the amount of credits I will accept for free shipping.

I am aware of the price that Listia charges to buy credits. I have never bought a single credit and have earned many. I will not change the shipping. Shipping is 5.00 unless the credits get up to 5501. Then free shipping.

Please read this carefully:

shipping is $5.00. this is already well below the price it is going to cost me to ship the item(s). if you don't want to pay the shipping, then don't bid on the coffee maker. any more negative comments on this auction and i report the person causing the problem. as i said above, i have never opened the box so i don't know what it looks like. the information i have for the coffee maker is listed above. i am believe with all my heart that i have asked for a fair amount of credits for the shipping to be free on this and i will not budge. i am a trusted seller with a fantastic feedback score. if you are worried about the amount of credits then look at the auctions for gift cards, costume jewelry and bath and body products. this is an extremely fair auction with a great shipping price. if you want a free maker with free shipping join the gevalia club and get your coffee maker that way.

I just sold a weight watchers points finder slider for almost 500 points. That would be over $20.00 if you buy your credits, or free if you get rid of your own stuff for credits as I have done. This coffee maker is worth more than a points finder.

I apologize if I upset you. I was just asking because I do not have a job right now and really love Gevalia and their coffee. Again, I am sorry.

Just a correction to the comment about this being a 'plain coffee maker with just an on/off switch' - That is an untrue statement. GEVALIA BLK CM2205 12 Cups Programmable Coffee Maker. I am watching and will be bidding. I have no problem with the $5 shipping fee. And Gevalia does indeed charge $15-20 shipping plus automatically send coffee shipments monthly which they automatically charge your credit card for.
So this auction is a GREAT deal! Thanks for listing it!
