go to the Listia home page, click on your name in the top right corner, click "My Listia", scroll down until you see "Verify your Account" it is under "account settings" it gives you 4 options on how to verify your account 1-Facebook 2-twitter 3-phone 4-credit card or bank account. hope this helps

No it does not take battery's but have charger and keeps a good charge.
