Won these on Listia for a gift & never ended up using it. This is a set of necklaces with matching earrings. They are marked genuine sapphire & genuine amethyst, with a 'certificate of authenticity" and on the box. I don't want to disappoint anyone since these are obviously not quality sapphires or amethysts. The sapphire colors are more opaque, with a grey tinge and some imperfections. The amethyst is more of a paler lavender pink.

The necklaces & settings aren't marked either. I believe they're gold-tone. There was some tarnish but it was easily cleaned with jewelry cleaner. Necklaces are 18" long with a 2" extension & lobster clasp. Comes in the black velvet jewelry box.

All in all, these are pretty....simple & elegant. Would be a great gift, stocking stuffer or a special treat for yourself.
