if this is eco-drive, it doesnt take a battery....it is solar powered...so place it under a light for a while and see if it starts working

eco drive watches do have a battery the solar light or any light will recharge the battery .and if the watch has not been exposed to some kind of light for 6 months it just may need a battery .just checked this on the web site
