OMG. Fanned & watching! I was just reading last night about a reboot of the film starting next year. O'Barr signed onto it, but I still think it's a movie that should be left to rest perfectly in peace. Bradley Cooper was supposed to portray Eric, but now it will be Luke Evans...I don't think any Hollywood stars should be attached to this movie if it has to be done.
Everyone that I've spoken to so far regarding the remake has all agreed that it should just be left alone. There are so many different chapters to the comic that they could do (I think even some that haven't been made into a film yet), but the first one with Brandon Lee should be left alone for A LOT of reasons. The main one simply being out of the respect and honor of Lee's legacy, and for the fact that they're already trying to get "A List" celebrities to sign onto it. That has garbage written all over it, and it's definitely NOT the way to resurrect a cult classic. It'd be interesting to start a petition just to see the overwhelming response it would get because I bet nearly 100% of The Crow fans would be against the remake of this film.
