Description

The listing, MARCUS BROTHERS Cotton Christmas Fabric Pieces SNOWMEN for Quilts / Crafts has ended.

Up for bid are sections of a tree skirt panel that were cut apart to make other items (can be used to make holiday hot pads, affixed to sweatshirts, stockings, table runners, small quilt, etc.). I had purchased a bunch of panels to make craft items, and this is the final extra one. This was what was left over, and I had used as much as I was going to.

Hated to see the pieces go to waste, so offering them here! Dianna Marcum's "Snow Buddies" designed for Marcus Bros. Textiles Inc.

If you want to see what the panel was like before it was cut up, check this: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Christmas-Treeskirt-fabric-panel-Dianna-Marcum-Snowman-Snow-Buddies-pr-2-/150729643685

The first four squares measure approximately 7" to the dotted line. The next four squares measure 5¾" to the edge of the red frame. Some of the pieces were cut on the bias, as this was cut from a design that went in a half circle.

The picture of the pair of snowmen (Mr. and Mrs.), the very top of the fabric and very bottom doesn't show because they were just a little too large for my scanner top. There is enough that there is nothing cut off or too close to use properly.

These were all laid on my scanner top, so you can kind of judge the sizes by that (forgot to put my ruler on the scanner).

They should only be ironed on the back, because the front has fine sparkles all over. I found dampening them, then ironing on the back did the trick! But these have not had that done.

I think there's a lot that can be done with this lot, for someone that is still making Christmas crafts (I think I'm done for this year, thank goodness!).
