FREE: vintage craig/panasonic 4x4 player recorder

this is a 1950s 4x4 recorder player i have never heard of one of these before but apparently they were very popular back in the day as the system of choice for hotrods although this is a home version and not the kind that goes under the dash in a hot rod i do know that these were before the 8 track even and were and are still used in recording studios today . craig was the top buyer in the early 50s and 60s which we know to day as panasonic which are both out of japan ( go figure) it still works although i do not have any of the original four track tapes to go in you can get them off of ebay if someone wanted to do so for old times sake and would make a good addition to any collection for those who collect old electronics and or radio players so i guess it woud fit a few different catagories
