The listing, ANTIQUE OPAL RING has ended.

This is an antique opal ring. It was given to me by my grandmother, so it is over 50 yrs. old. It has no markings on the inside of it. I did take it to a jewelers who verified the opals, but the band in not gold, it is gold plated over metal alloy. It also has an open bottom for adjustability, which he said that is mainly how they made rings back then for various sizing. It is in excellent condition with basically no wear on it at all.

Yes, they are very colorful like an opal should be, when I took it to the jewelers I also had it cleaned while I was there, so they are really shiny now. And you are right, it is hard to capture to color & beauty of an opal on camera.
