The listing, A.T.T 4-ethernet Modem has ended.

AT&T DSL modem with 4 ethernet ports. You can p[lug up to 4 different devices to this high speed modem--computer, laptop, game console. works great, super fast speeds. Comes with everything you see: Modem, stand, power cord, 1 ethernet cable, 1 data cable, installation guide & support CD.

This item will not be shipped in the original box. I do apologize, but that is the only way I can afford to do free shipping. If you would like for this item to be shipped in the original box, I ask that you pay half the shipping cost, which would be $7. I do not have a paypal account, so you would have to send it either concealed cash or money order.

well, since the auction ends on Friday evening, after the post office closes, I will be shipping it out first thing Saturday morning. It will be in a flat rate box, so you should receive it by probably Wednesday at the latest.

sorry but I'm not the best on technology. This is not the same thing as a router correct? My daughter has a router but looking for modem so she doesn't have to rent from her cable provider. So is this what she needs? F&W

No, it isn't a router. If she is looking for a good quality modem, then this is what she would need, but it is strictly for internet provided through AT&T. I would have kept it, but I am no longer with AT&T...switched to our local cable provider. It is great & the router wouldn't really be need unless she preferred wireless for other devices.

I don't think that it will work with anything other than AT&T. My brother is an IT tech & a computer genius, so I will ask him for certain tomorrow.

ok...I talked to my brother & he said that the modem can only be used with AT&T service since it is their firmware that is integrated into the modem. I do apologize for that.

It really is an awesome modem. My husband had our XBOX 360 hooked to it as well. It doesn't slow your computer or internet speed down at all.

that's cool, but you would still have to have AT&T service to hook it up to the modem for internet connection through your XBOX
