This baby was just reborned on Nov. 8 2013 at 11:45AM. she weighs 10 oz. and 10 inches long

*please read listing*This is not a real reborn it is a childs play doll that was reborned. The process is done the same way but instead of using fine glass beads plastic pellets are used for weight which makes this doll safe for kids over 3 (as long as they wont rip the doll apart and try to eat of choke on the pellets). Also instead of making the doll from a $100-200. kit a childs play doll is used. Kids can enjoy having a nice, more lifelike doll and the parents can save hundreds of $ and see if their child can take care of this doll. It's a great way to start a child out to reborn dolls

I've been reborning for almost 3 years now but I've always loved dolls and I love to paint. This little one was painted with several layers of reborn paints. She has a flesh skin tone, veining, light warm molt blushing, darker blushing, creases, eye brows, nails have been tipped. The lips, nostriles and eye edges have a moist look. She has really soft, curly brown, hand rooted mohair. She is weighted with tiny plastic pellets and polly fill stuffing (choking hazard for kids under 3), then tied tight in a nylon bag. Her body, head, arms and legs are weighted. The body isn't jointed.

She comes from a smoke free home. She will include her dress (used a few marks sorry), hospital band she is wearing with all of her reborn info. on around her waist, gold looking (not real gold) head band and bracelet- to make her look more like a little princess.

The other toys, blankets and so on are just props I use in my photos so people can see the item better and they are NOT included. She also looks much better in real life- my camera isn't that good.

There is a pouch in her soft body that is weighted. I could remove it and replace it with fine glass beads but then it wont be safe around kids. Her weight would increase about 1 lb. If she is not for a child I could do this.

its not for a child lol unless you count a child at heart. I'm having trouble finding clothes for a doll this size . any suggestions

I have been told that Babies r us sells micro preemie baby clothes ...babies around 2 lbs. I've never been to the store. You could also buy doll clothes from Walmart. Craft stores also sell patterns for doll clothes if you know how to sew or have a friend that could.

If I can't do a magnetic paci. did you want a tacky one? Some people replace the magnets with a tacky putty that is safe to use on reborn dolls and reborn paints. People use these instead of the magnetic ones mostly for people who have heart problems and can't be around magnets. The tacky part wont dry out and as long as it is kept cleans and lint free it will keep sticking the same as a magnetic pacifier. I've made a few before:)
