It's a large in women's. It does fit like a med as well. The tag says Large though.

You say it fits like a medium? Could you please measure it across the shoulders, and the bust? Mine is 40D, and I have wide shoulders for a woman. But it is beautiful, and I hope it might fit me.

I say that because on each side of the waist there are buckles to loosen or tighten the waist. The shoulders measure 18" across. The bust measures the same. I measured from the arm pit area of the jacket. I hope it fits you!

Sounds like it would be good for a 36" bust. Mine is 40". Is the back fuller than the front? I would need 40" between the front and the back put together, and it doesn't sound like it will make it. It is lovely.
