Description

The listing, Five Colour Silverbeet Swiss Chard Seeds has ended.

Swiss chard is grown for its succulent leaves and leaf stalks.'Five Color Silverbeet' has beautiful glossy foliage ranging from light to dark green, but the real attraction is its colored stalks in red, pink, white, yellow, and orange.

Swiss chard is super easy to grow tolerating poor conditions, like some shade, drought, and poor soil.

An heirloom from the 1850's that was nearly lost. Certified Organic. At least 15 seeds.

Wow ~ I've never heard of these! They must grow in colder climates? Like Maine? I assume so since you're from Canada. :) But thought I'd ask to make sure. Cool auction!

Lol, Swiss chard does grow better in cooler times and can even withstand a small amount of frost. It can take heat better than some leafy greens, it just dosent grow as fast in the very hot summers.
