Description
The listing, ~~ The Unexpected ~~ #1 scary comic book From 1968 Silver-Age! has ended.
1968 DC comics "The Unexpected" #105. It is the 1st time this book is titled such and is considered a #1,This book has condition issues such as creases, a chunk missing from the back beside the man in the ads head on the right in second photo.12 cent cover and a huge title to have the #1 from.Previously Tales of the Unexpected up until issue 104 then this book was printed as 105 but a title change and is listed such in the Overstreet price "Guide". This would be a welcomed addition to any horror fans stash. Perfect Holiday gift for CHRISTmas or treat yourself or whatever. Bid the highest and it is yours. Please, check my other auctions for more really cool items like video games, sports/gaming cards, comics, action figures and much more.....Perfect feedback so "BID 2 WIN or Use the GIN !"
o yeah, "Tales of the Unexpected" started in 1956 then changed the Title to simply "The Unexpected" in 1968 and thus is a #1 but numbered as 105 and continued until 1982 with issue #222.
please do. I have grabbed several great books from Listia over the years. One of my best was a 4.0-5.0 Conan the Barbarian #1 from the 1st series for 1400 credits,...yep 1400 credits, but that was a couple of years ago.Get them bids in and it could be yours.
yeah,Swamp Thing #10 was my 1st horror comic at the ripe old age of 4. Bernie Wrightston's art amazed and creeped me chilled, but started something that would carry on for 4 decades now. They saved and corrupted me in a totally eccentric way.....Yeah I love'em,too. Enjoy the auction. Thanx for the flash-back, most appreciated.
yeah, again not in the best condition cause that would be a few hundred bucks and I would have kept it,lol. I found an upgrade and now this one is free to go.
