this hotwheels video racer is new out of the package. my husband got it and never actually used it. its purpose is you can strap it to anything and record a video and then play it back on your computer. kids can put it on their helmets while skateboarding, biking etc. or if your into rc places you can take a video from the sky! pretty much anything! since we never used it im not familiar with the process of setting it up but it comes with a usb cord to connect to the computer so you can send your videos. as you can see from the pic of the contents list everything is included...the only thing not pictured is the extra clips. I have them I just need to find them. if I find them before auction ends I will update. we paid $25 for this at walmart brand new.

can the camera be hooked up so you can watch while the car or whatever is in action? Is it small enough to install in a model train engine?

if you mean like watching it live...im not positive...ill check over the book in the morning. we never really used it so im not positive but I will check and get back to you before auction ends. its about the same size as a regular hotwheel so im sure you coukd mount it in a train but it probably wouldn't look very good.

**correction** I dont thinm you coukd mount it IN a train...ON it yes, but I dont think you could get it inside unless its the bigger scale ones.

to my understanding, you cant watch it "live" but after recording, you can watch a playback of the video from the screen on the car and you can hook it to th3 comouter with the usb cable and watch it that way as well.
