Description

The listing, African Euphorbia Candelabra Tree has ended.

This is a very unusual plant. It's tropical, from Africa and each branch is triangular shaped with spines along the ridges and leaves! It will grow as tall as you let it. Mine is around 8 feet tall. It doesn't need a lot of water, but when it's thirsty the leaves will start to drop. I water it every two weeks to prevent that.
You will receive a cutting, which will grow- (my plant started out as a 4" cutting. It's now about 15 years old, so it's not fast growing.)
The candelabra tree is a Euphorbia that can grow up to forty feet tall with many upright cactus-like limbs and many spines, but they have very small deciduous leaves.
You will receive a 6" cutting in a moist wrap, ready for planting.
I can send a PayPal invoice for the $4 shipping charge.

Will you have this available in the Spring? I ask because my house is small. I have no window sills and no South window. I also have 4 cats and 1 kitten who love to chew on my plants. If I got it now it wouldn't survive until next Spring.

I have two cats indoors too. They never touch my grown Candelabra tree...too many spines and the sap is bitter to them. I plant small containers of wheat grass for my cats. They love it and actually need something green in their diet, so it's good for them. A 1/2 lb. of seed will last a long time as you just plant a spoonful at a time- when it's about 4" give it to the cats, then they will leave your plants alone.
