The listing, 2nd Generation iPod Touch 8GB has ended.

Up for auction is a gently used 2nd generation iPod touch 8GB. The screen is in perfect condition and there is just minor scratches on the back. Comes with original plastic case and owners manual. I do not have a charger for it, but may include a new one depending on bids. I will update as the auction goes on. I will be adding more pictures later today after it is charged so I can show that it is working. Any questions, please feel free to ask. If a GIN is desired, please let me know before the first bid is placed. After a bid is placed a GIN can no longer be set.

can u get wifi on it and download apps

The 2nd generation ipod is able to connect to the internet via wifi. The issue with it is that the software can't be updated since eventually all apple products become outdated (thus forcing you to buy new upgraded ones) so none of the new apps are able to be used. I bought this on e-bay for my son and it was listed as a 3rd generation (but obviously isn't), which is why I am auctioning it off.

Apparently the ipod can be updated so it can use the newer apps. I couldn't figure out how to do it so I would google it before bidding if you're looking to use apps. It does work with itunes and the web browser was working for me.

I had tried to upgrade it after doing a google search but couldn't figure it out.. That's great if you got it to work. :) I just didn't want to misrepresent the item.

I will check shipping costs today and let you know. I'll ship to Canada, but if it is noticeably more than shipping in the US, the winner may have to pay the difference. Ive shipped to Canada in the past and it was relatively cheap but I want to double check. :)
