The "dollar stores" aka Dollar Tree, Dollar General, & Family Dollar were mentioned in TIME mag recently as bucking the trend against the almighty WalMart & their stocks have climbed steadily enough to motivate WalMart into moving "mini stores" called "Neighborhood something?" into smaller buildings creating smaller stores like the dollar stores.
More & more people are shopping these dollar stores- reasons included were easy in, easy out. Better quality merchandise from say, 5 yrs. ago. And they carry name brand foods at great prices.
I find exactly what I need at the dollar stores & I'm out in WAY LESS time than my 2+ hour trip at WalMart trying to find everything!!
So, yeah, I love the dollar stores too LOL:) Trying to cut out WalMart as much as I can at this point~ we only go there for some of our groceries now & when our local farmers markets reopen here in the Spring, WalMart will hardly see any of my money : D
