This was tested on 11-17-2010 before it was shipped to me, I never got around to using it but I retested it today 10-19-2013 and it work good. It uses 1 AAA battery which is not included, sorry but I don't have any extra batteries. This can be used on your children or your keys or anything that you have a habit of misplacing.
