Description

The listing, Hello Kitty Wool Diaper Cover Shorties Size Medium has ended.

A great Work at home mom made these and they are primarily used for cloth diaper covers, can be worn as plain old shorts, but this is crocheted out of soft wool that has been washed in Euclan wool wash and lanolized in Alioop lanolin spray with love spell scent. I did accidentally wash these with normal laundry and normally this would put them out of shape it only tightened them a bit but they kept thier shape. They need to be hand washed in wool wash which I will include what I have left if the bids get over 1000. I relanolized them and they still work and looked beautiful. They can be worn as shorts as well. any questions just ask. The face is crocheted right into the stitch not added after so they will not fall apart. Oh BTW these sell for $35 new or more so if you cloth diaper and have wanted to try woolies of any kind this is a GREAT opportunity to see if it is for you!

I really don't think you'd have any problem getting close to that much for longies!! These are too small for my DD and I still want to bid! How awesome to see wool on here! I'm just getting into wool. Both kids got longies for Christmas and I WANT MORE!! :)

The longies I may put up are medium as well but they have been washed the correct way and should go up to 30 lbs. I would just be sad obviously you understand how addicting they can be, hahaha. I actually have a few left that she will wear this spring and summer even now that she is out of diapers I love them so much.

Are you going to have any shorties for boys? We are in Florida, so we need short covers. I'm still watching this one even though there is quite a bit of pink - their shirt can cover up where most of it is at the top, lol. These are so cute!

OK, guess I'll have to start listing away so I can get enough points! We are just starting to potty train and I'm thinking of using them over cloth training pants.

Okay I think I have decided to go for it, so look out for them shortly. I am going to post a pic of my daughter in them so you can get an idea of the size and fit.

Oh I should add once lanolized like they are they do not need to be washed very often as wool repells smells and water. Unless they get soiled you can go weeks without washing!

Perfect. I'll be bidding. My 8 month old is 15 pounds and my 2 1/2 month old is 21 pounds and skinny so I think it will work great for both girls.

Awesome =) I am thinking (seriously I have to really think about this, lol) listing a longies set with a matching knit hat tommorow. It is so nice though, I would loose it if I had to let it go for less than 5000 credits, lol. I spent so much on it. I guess that is a gamble you have to take on here though.

I was wondering the same thing too. My daughter's twins are at 21 pounds but kinda skinny.

My last LO though skinnier than my others is average so these might go farther with skinny babies =)

oops I must have earsed that part in one of my obsessive editing spurts, lol. Well normally her mediums go up to 30 lbs but since I washed them and tighted the fibers I would definitly say these would fit comfortably between 15-25lbs and you could let them wear them as shorts after they are out of cloth becasue they still fit her now without a diaper and she weighs 32 lbs. I will try to get them out and measure but trying to spend time with family since hubby leaving soon.

wool is the best for cloth diapering
Jan 16th, 2011 at 10:28:34 AM PST by

IS that a question or a statement? Lol. If question then answer is yes it is one of the best if not the best IMO, it is also alot softer than many new cloth mamas think =) And if it is a statement then obviously I agree =) I loved all cute cloth diapers and accessories so I spent ALOT on them.

I am hoping these will go for a decent bid. I have a few other pairs of SUPER cute shorties and skirties but I wont let them go for less than $20-30 each or the eqivalent of that. So if these get high I may list the others =)
