The plant is a member of the hibiscus family, and develops papery flower blossoms between 4 and 6 inches in diameter in the summer and fall. The flowers are either pink or white, but change to a reddish color. The Confederate rose is a very hardy plant that requires only basic care. Place the cutting in a jar filled with water and place it in a warm area that receives lots of sunlight. An east window works well, The cutting should have sufficient roots to plant into a pot within eight weeks.I have just stuck it in potting soil,and it rooted.When it blooms it is white in the mornings and pink in the afternoon.Will give you 4 5" Clippings.This also comes with 2 Mexican Petunias cuttings.
