I don't think so. When it drops below 35 in January all the flowers dry up and die.

Loquats trees grow to 8 feet tall and only in zones 8-9-10. Will not set flowers in cold weather. Have seen them grown indoors, but they stay around 6 feet tall.

i love these trees but i bet they would not grow here but it was a great idea. i have ate many, many loquats and adore them. thanks...
