You're very welcome! This is such a fun website but be careful bc there are a few fake auctions posted, always look at the sellers feedback history before you bid ;)

Listia will refund you the credits if you do win an auction & the seller doesn't send the item but it takes time bc the seller has 7 days to send the item & then by the time you realize they haven't sent it & you open a claim to get ur credits refunded, it can take 5 more days. If someone outbids you before the auction ends then it will automatically give you your credits back..

If you win, you would send that seller a msg & see if they msg you back, if not then on the auction link it'll say "things not going well? Request a refund" you click that then click the seller never responded option & then if the seller agrees to give you the credits back you'll get them then, if the seller ignores your credit refund request then listia will automatically give them to you in 5 days

do I need to go to the website?
Nov 21st, 2013 at 10:58:23 AM PST by
Original
I would say go to the website itself & look all the way to the left side of the page, towards the bottom there's a place where it says "verify your account" try that. Then I think you'll also need to go back to that same column & click on "saved shipping addresses" to have your address verified. You have to be verified & send your listia verified address thru the auction link (not in a message) to the seller within 7 days of winning the auction before a seller can mail any items you have won otherwise listia gives the seller the credits & lets the seller keep the item

Yw, anytime you need help just message me, if there's something you wanna bid on & can't tell if it's a fake auction, be sure to look at all the info, like from the website you can click on the fb icon that is under the sellers name on their profile and it will show you that persons Facebook page, which is a good way to tell if it's a kid who's prolly not gonna send it or if they're posting an iPhone or ps3 but the fb page says it's a 19 yo that quit his job at mcdonalds & goodwill, yeah he's prolly not gonna send the item & is just on here thinking he can scam someone out of all those credits. Listia withholds those credits from the seller until the winner notifies listia that the seller actually sent the item so the posters of fake auctions don't end up getting the credits in the end but I think they think they'll get the credits as soon as their fake auctions end so that why I think they do it. I hope all this helps you & you stick with listia, it's a lot of fun & you can win so many cool things on here.. Btw, love your fb post about fake concern, so true ;)
