The listing, Kindle has ended.

Basic Kindle. Good for reading books. It does have scratches on the screen near the bottom and also on the kindle body. They never effected the reading. I tried to zoom in on them so you can see how much. Occasionally it would slow down for me if I would play a game so I learned that if I totally restart it it would work well again. Black and white. Will come charged so you can get started with it right away. If you have questions please ask. If you have wanted to try a kindle and not sure if you would like it or not this is the perfect way to try it.

I'm not real up on the Kindle apps. I know you can read books and play games, is there anything else you can do? internet? or is it really mostly for reading books? thanks :)

This is best for reading books. It's not really for browsing internet. This version of kindle is not real good with games either...mostly the basic word games.
