I'm afraid that is not Steamboat Willie, but rather what is generally called, "Classic Mickey," Great listing. Can you tell me the measurements of the face. I am curious if a new band would make it useful for an adult. Thanks much.

Sounds like you are getting beat up over this shipping thing. Man, it's only a few bucks. I don't know how folks get so funny (I mean peculiar, no ha-ha) over a few bucks. I consider the value of the item and how much I want it. How much I want it is usually the selling point. That is something that really can't be measured...the sentimental value. Insurance companies would back me up......no value on sentiments as far as they are concerned,. It's too subjective. And so it is here. One never knows what something will "sell" and when it will not. I personally think this watch has some value to me as I am a member of the Original Mickey Mouse Club generation. I wish you the best of luck on this and subsequent auctions.

So wasi ! in fact in 1959, i was a member ! when annett,cubby,dennis,roy and many more were the first 300 members. i lived on mountian view, just 3miles from disneyland!you could see the matterhorn from my front yard !every night a 9:00pm fire works went off for about 10 minutes. miss it.
