I am not sure of the materials that they were made from. I purchased them from Walmart. The hooks are regular earring hooks.

do you have a measurement of how big they are? are they heavy?

No they are not heavy. I think they are like 2 inches long and 1inch wide. I am not really sure about the measurements that is just a guess.
