The listing, 1929 Kans. Nebr. Overprints has ended.

A large number of post office burglaries in Kansas and Nebraska in 1929, caused the post office to issue special overprinted stamps as a experiment that proved unsussessful and short lived. Offered are four overprint stamps. The 1 1/2 Nebr and 1 Kans are cancelled. The 2 and 1 Nebraska are not cancelled, however, the 1 Nebraska is slightly damaged but can serve as place holder pending a better stamp. Please enlarge to see the stamps being offered the winner will receive along with a U.S. commemorative stamps as free bonus.
