The listing, 1935 Farley's Whistler's Mother Stamp! has ended.
Postmaster General Farley in the 1930's had the post office print up full sheets of stamps without perforations for his friends. When work got out, stamp collectors demanded the stamps be offered to all. As a result, unperforated sheets of stamps. The sheets of stamps proved unpopular with the public but stamp collectors and dealers snapped most of them up. Today, the so called Farley stamps have a unique place in U.S. postal history.
